Top20 MtG Flavor texts

Not that I agree with the guy, but the fact that he speaks like a castillan is more fun.

And after 4 years...

So, after 4 years of working for our office, the sacred cow known as Woe is me finally decided to start figuring out what our office does, the fact that she had to do homework from a course she was forced to take helped too...

So, after 2 days of hearing her calling everyone she knows, begging for someone to help her, and saying that we're ungrateful for not helping her, I am more than ever sick, and wish a thunder would finally take care of her, and let us be rid of her stupidity.

Oh, and by the way, it took her these 2 days to write 8 parragraphs for her homework (most of it is data copy/pasted from legitimate sources).

Breathe calmly...

NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why god, why? Haven't we been good people? Haven't we helped others? Haven't we tried to evade hurting others? Why do you do this to us?

I just hope the mass-murderer destroys the world before april 10, 2009, and we don't have to suffer this infamy.

Epic win

Without a shadow of a doubt, Cosparty 2008 was a complete success.

My sincere applaud to the organizers who stood up to the challenge of organizing a such a good event in so little time.

Best wishes to them all, and the group organizing Kawaii Festival in Heredia.

Refugee Day

I sincerely hope I never have to experience of having to run away from your own country into the unknown, leaving all behind, and barely able to take your own stuff...

My best wishes to these people, specially the many colombians we have here in CR who struggle to survive, and fight off the terrible image of drug dealers, and killers some people assume they have.

Being ultra offensive

Look at the picture:

Unknown disease? SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEE..........

Jeez, if they're going to hold a memorial on the poor guy couldn't they have chosen a better picture?

PS. I had a second degree cousin who also died of the same unknown disease years ago...

D&D Day

Well, sorry for not writing yesterday, too much work.

I enjoyed D&D Day lots.

The demo campaing was nice and balanced, the DM was a nice person, the group played great, and even the snack was good.

4E rules seemed nice, although making characters is probably more complicated... haven't checked yet, because I won a free Player's Handbook, but I'll pick it up until tomorrow.

Middle of campaing:

Boss fight:

Mission complete:

Dragon food:

Dragon-looting time!

A great day indeed. Hopefully I'll join a 4E campaing soon.

Btw, I was playing the human fighter (officially Kelric, Male Human Fighter), and also won a miniature dwarf figure (haven't checked what he's supposed to be).

Rants

Not even 2 days after the Alara anouncement, and the official topic is getting more than 800 replies, boards everywhere are filled with topics discussing it, and even UG Madness has issued it:

Too late to go back, but we still have to see have to see how many players MtG has left.

Changes as of Shards of Alara

Regarding today's announcement:

1. Less cards per set: good, more manageable, and HOPEFULLY less craps.

As I side note, I also started directly within a set (Judgment mainly), and skipped core sets.

2. New rarity: I don't really care

I don't play other TCGs (in real life), so I don't even know what their rarity is.

3. Lands in boosters: I don't like this...

I see the tournament packs are not listed anywhere in the article... I'll have to wait for the fatpack details to see where I'll get my land collection.

4. Theme decks into Intro Packs: sounds like a nice change

Anyways, I'm not into Theme decks, unless the main mechanic is appealing. My first was Morph Mayhem, before that I played with other people's decks, and I liked the way it worked. My only other precon was Dimir Intrigues, because I really wanted to try out milling strategies.

5. Multicolored 'walker: about time they returned

As a fatpack buyer, I suppose the respective novel will be replaced with the correspoding new storyline product. But there are 4 storyline products, and 3 sets, so that means core sets will get the filler one?
